Artist Statement

This artwork shows a flower drowning in murky water. I use flower as symbol of peace, beauty and growth. In the context of human justice, it can be represent the hope for a fair and just society, where individuals can flourish and live in harmony. It may symbolize the idea that justice, like flower, should be nurtured and protected to promote a thriving and equitable community. When I make the flower seem to be drowning in murky water because could be metaphorical, suggesting a negative aspect within human justice. It symbolizes the suppression or destruction of fairness and justice, highlighting instances where the principles of a just society are compromised or overwhelmed by various factors such as corruption, inequality or injustice.
